When we went to see Gavin today we were happy to hear that they were able to remove the ventilator tube from his mouth. He's been breathing with a little assistance through a nasal tube as you can see in the picture. They are going to keep a close eye on his breathing. He was awake while we were there today so that was fun to see since the last 2 days we've been there he's been sedated. We spoke with Dr. Jay today and he said we are moving in the right direction. He said the CT scan he had yesterday had show the polyps were shrinking. He is on two different steriod medications, one through an IV and another nasal drip that he gets 2 times a day. He is also on some extra calcium meds because his calcuim levels are a little low.

He is so cute! I can't wait to squeeze him. I am glad everything is moving in the right direction. Please take care of yourselves too. It is a lot for the two of you. We were so excited to see the pictures today. It just warmed our hearts. We are so thankful that he is getting better everyday. You are such great parents and Gavin is so lucky to have you as his parents. We are so anxious to see him again. He is such a miracle and we feel so blessed to have such a special grandson!
