Gavin is still doing well. We went to see him today and the nurses were able to explain how he is improving. We also were able to talk to his other doctor (Dr. Jay). He explained that the nasal polyps are starting to shrink and that Dr. Cramer believes that the steriod he is on is actually reducing the polyps. When Dr. Cramer saw Gavin earlier in the morning he was able to see inside his nose with a small scope and could tell that they polyps were getting smaller. So they are going to quit using the nasal spray they started and continue with the steriod medication. They are working with the Pharmacy to get the steriod medication in a nasal spray so then Gavin won't have to take it through an IV anymore.

HI guys!! This is great news! We are so happy for you guys being new parents, but it is a bummer that Gavin has to be in the hospital after you went home, Priscilla. But, it strengthens you guys. I really am glad you guys have this blog so everyone can see how little (well, he sure has cute chubby cheeks!!) Gavin is doing.

Hey Gavin! It sounds like you are quite the little trooper - keep up the good work. We are all anxiously awaiting to hold you and the boys can't wait to spend time with their new cousin. So far they want to teach you how to bike, snowboard, skateboard and golf!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on becoming parents! Gavin looks like quite the "Little Boy!" My gosh he has legs as long as mine! You are finding out right away what parenting is all about-children keep us humble and close to God.
