We stopped by this afternoon and talked to Dr. Jay. He said that they were going to take out the embilical IV. That means now we can hold Gavin! Boy are we excited! The nurse took out the IV while we were there. Now we have to wait a few hours to make sure the IV location clotted okay. He still has an IV above his ear. He also has a small tube in his mouth that will be used for feeding if needed. So Gavin is one step closer to being able to go home!
